What ever happened to..

Hello Everyone!
Thanks for reading my blog post last week; I enjoyed all your comments!
Now, I want to ask everyone about something that has been bugging me for hours now....Don't you ever wonder: What ever happened to sites like MySpace and Piczo?
I remember when we were in grade 5, so like 2005, and we had computer time at school, everyone would log into MySpace or Piczo. Now when I was younger, I personally didn't have MySpace, because I knew that it was going to die. I did have like 5 Piczo pages though. Me and my friends would build one whenever we were bored, and post a bunch of posts. But don't you ever wonder about the information that we put up there, about all those biographies that we put in our "About Me" section, or all the pictures that we posted.
What about all those ads that would appear bigger than your own pictures, or the music and videos that would take   F O R E V E R  to load? I know that's one of the reasons we all quit it.
If you want advice on how to handle MySpace information, my advice would be to delete all your information, then delete your page. Even though all your information has been once up there, it's better to have it deleted before anything happens. With Piczo, you should do the same things, if you remember your password, of course, because I know I don't.
From what I heard for MySpace, there were also a lot of undercover cops waiting and watching everyone, kinda like Big Brother would, to make sure that nothing bad or illegal is happening (this is where English at Lajeunesse comes in handy).
Hope you all enjoyed it, even though it was less entertaining then my last post.  Besides, who knows, Facebook might die out and something else will replace it.

I do think that Facebook will eventually subside and make way for a new social networking site, though it will not happen any time soon. There are always those talks about Facebook and how they're going to start making you pay to have an active account, but I don't ever see it happening. The only reason that Facebook will end up in the same place as Myspace did is because people lose interest. We're always going to be searching for new, cool ways to network.Regarding the information on my Myspace account, that password left my mind about 4 years ago, but that is a very good tip!

I personally never made a MySpace or piczo account just because at that age I didn't find it necessary. Even now with Facebook when I really think about it there is no real reason as to why I have one... I just do. I do agree with you that in order to stay on the safe side before deleting one of your social networking pages you should always delete your information since you never know what can still be visible to other people. But I'd also like to say that I don't really see Facebook coming to an end however in the years to come it could be used less frequently.

Personnally I never had a MySpace or a Piczo account. I don't even know what Piczo is?! :$ But anyway, I didn't create a MySpace account because I didn't feel space making one. When I heard about a murdere of something MySpace was in the same sentence. I was going to make when then decided otherwise. Yet, I have a Facebook account and it's the same thing. Oh well. Oddly enough I feel Facebook is safer but for a fact I know it's not. Overall the Internet isn't a safe thing no matter what.

Honestly i didn't have myspace... and never heard of piczo, but it can all go the same for Facebook. I actually don't think facebook is safer, i believe the opposite. Facbook everyone can search you on google and see exactly what you post. If you decide to delete it, fun fact, it doesint ACTUALLY get deleted off of the internet before a couple years. Even if you put all the privacy settings, this still happens and people can still check it.

I completely forgot about piczo! Oh my, those were so embarrassing, I wish I could go back and see what I used to do... I'm not even sure what happened to it. It's a scary thought that all the stuff I used to put on the internet (nothing bad, by the way...) is probably still floating around somewhere.

If cops were using myspace, they are certainly using Facebook! I don't even remember piczo to be honest, but I always think and wonder where oldwebsites go like in grade three i think it was like neopets or something like that??
